Tresa K. Batson

Tresa K. Batson, MPH, SHRM-SCP, serves as the HR Benefits Manager for Workers Compensation and Leave Administration at TeamHealth, where responsibilities include leading national strategy and daily operations for a workforce exceeding 15,000 individuals. Notably, Tresa re-designed and implemented a streamlined workers’ compensation program, enhancing reporting accuracy and reducing claim lag times. Previously, Tresa held the position of HR Senior Benefits Specialist, focusing on claims coordination and compliance. Prior experience includes roles in organizational development at UT Medical Center, where program initiatives supported over 2,700 employees, and serving as Program Coordinator for a weight management program. Tresa also operated an online vintage jewelry business, garnering recognition for customer service and sales success. Tresa holds a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, along with an Associate of Science in Social Science from Roane State Community College.
