Diego Soro

Diego Soro currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Team Heretics and is a board member of the European Association of Innovation Consultants. With extensive experience as an Executive Partner at Soros Gabinete, Diego focuses on securing public funding for ICT innovation projects. Additionally, Diego mentors entrepreneurship projects in technology and internet sectors at the Instituto de Empresa. Previously, Diego held the position of CEO at Cream Real Betis, overseeing the esports division, and at Fundera.eu, where the mission involved democratizing access to European public funding information. Other roles have included teaching at Wayra and EOI, consulting in the media and telecommunications sectors, and advising on athlete career development. Diego holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School and a PhD in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, along with degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from two leading Spanish universities.
