Mark Helm

Mark Helm has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mark is currently working at Alight Solutions since 2017, starting as the Director of Health Solutions and later advancing to the role of Senior Director. In these positions, Mark oversees client teams, project management, and standard operations practices while driving revenue through effective relationship building.

Prior to their current role, Mark spent several years volunteering at Team Red, White & Blue, where they held leadership positions such as Communications Director, Chicago Chapter Captain, and Veteran Outreach Director.

Before their volunteer work, Mark worked at Aon Hewitt for over a decade. Mark started as a Lead Systems Analyst, where they directed global teams in executing technology strategies and optimizing client deliverables. Later, they transitioned into the role of Benefits Implementation Manager, leading multi-functional project teams to deliver implementations within budget and specified timeframe.

Mark's early career was in the US Army, where they served as a Supply Sergeant. Mark'sresponsibilities included supply management, small arms handling and maintenance, and operating unit-level computers.

Mark Helm completed their education in a chronological order. Mark first attended Illinois State University from 2002 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, General. After a significant gap, they attended Colorado Technical University from 2020 to 2021, graduating with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management. In addition to their degrees, Mark Helm also obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in August 2019.
