Mark Gortzak

Mark Gortzak is a seasoned software engineer with a diverse background in various technical roles. Currently employed as a Software Engineer at Team Rockstars IT and a Tech Lead at Avinty since May 2023, Mark previously held significant positions including Head of Software Engineering Program at Harvest, where the focus was on accelerating the development of recent graduates in the fields of Information Technology through masterclasses and coaching. Other notable experience includes roles at Belastingdienst, working on the migration of a COBOL application to Java, and leading a Scrum team at The Dutch Inspectorate of Education. Mark has also served as Team Lead at Fortezza and contributed to backend development for Rabobank ICT's intermediary portal. With a Bachelor’s degree in ICT from Inholland University and a strong foundation from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Mark combines technical expertise with leadership in software engineering.
