Jim Alstott

Jim Alstott is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership, coaching, and contract management across various industries. Currently serving as a Greyshirt Volunteer with Team Rubicon since October 2022, Jim has participated in multiple disaster response deployments. As a Doctoral Faculty member at Capella University since July 2015, Jim teaches in the Strategy & Innovation specialization of the Doctor of Business Administration program and provides mentorship to doctoral students. Previous roles include coaching at Alstott Coaching & Consulting, where Jim focused on personal and professional development, and as a Contract Manager at Major Tool & Machine and Advanced Electronics Company, assisting in project performance improvement and community engagement. Jim's military background includes 20 years in the United States Air Force, where leadership and training were key components of service. Jim holds a Ph.D. in Leadership and Organizational Change from Walden University, an MBA from the University of Utah, and a BA in Management from Park University.
