Sean Riggin

Sean Riggin has a diverse work experience in emergency management and consulting. Sean worked as an Emergency Management Specialist at COG starting in 2023. Prior to this, they served as an Adjunct Instructor at the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police in 2023. From 2022, Sean was the CEO and Consultant at Bluestone Services USA, where they provided organizational leadership and consulting services in crisis planning and security. Sean also worked at Team Rubicon from 2020, where they held various roles such as Metro Readiness and Operations Lead, Logistics Section Chief, and Disaster Responder. Additionally, Sean worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Benchmark Professional Seminars in 2018 and served as an Advisory Board Member at Atlantic County Crimestoppers. Sean was also the Director of Operations at Asfalis Advisors in 2022. Sean holds a graduate student position at the University of Delaware, starting in 2021. Sean previously served as the Emergency Manager and Joint Insurance Fund Commissioner at PLEASANTVILLE, CITY OF and the Atlantic County Joint Insurance Fund from 2018 to 2021.

Sean Riggin has a Master's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from the University of Delaware. Sean also holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Aspen University. In addition to their degrees, Sean Riggin has obtained certifications in Emergency Management Academy from FEMA in 2019 and Command and Leadership from NJSACOP Command & Leadership in 2015.
