William Karnadi, CEM, CBCP, currently serves as the Director of Emergency Management and Business Continuity Planning at Syracuse University, where oversight includes emergency management, business continuity, fire and life safety, and internal communications, supervising 25 full-time and 10 part-time employees with a budget exceeding $2 million. Additionally, William has volunteered with Team Rubicon since May 2015 in various capacities, including Central NY Deputy Administrator and NYC Metro Planning Coordinator, focusing on disaster relief operations and emergency planning. Prior experience includes a managerial role in emergency management at New York University, where William developed Continuity of Operations plans and implemented emergency protocols, along with a project associate role at NYU's Wagner Graduate School. William's early career includes serving as an Infantry Squad Leader in the US Army, providing leadership and mentorship to soldiers. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from NYU and a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from John Jay College (CUNY).
