Martha Hier has over two decades of experience in finance and software development. Currently, Martha serves as the Software Development Manager at the San Jose Convention & Visitors Bureau, overseeing all TSJ SaaS products since October 2012. Additionally, Martha has been the Payroll and Systems Information Manager at Team San Jose since January 2007, responsible for managing payroll processes for 1,500 employees across various agreements and states. Previous roles include Accounting Clerk at LUCIX Corporation, where Martha managed accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, as well as Bookkeeper at Computer Spirit, Inc., and Office Manager at SystemSoft. Martha's education includes attendance at Moorpark College.

Launched in 2004, Team San Jose is an economic development organization and the official Convention and Visitors Bureau for San Jose. Team San Jose also manages the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, South Hall, Parkside Hall, and four historic Theaters which include the San Jose Civic, the California Theatre, the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts and the Montgomery Theater.
