Charlie Ward has had a varied work experience since 2011. Charlie started their career as a Business Development Representative at Don't Just Sit There, Sell Something! Ltd in 2011. In 2012, they obtained their TEFL qualification and taught English courses to schools in Bangkok and surrounding areas as an English Teacher (TEFL) for Speak EZ. In 2015, they joined Circle Collective as a Training Coordinator, where they created and taught a 12-week programme to enhance young people's skills, confidence, motivation and work-readiness. That same year, they also joined Rocket Internet SE as an Account Manager, where they were heavily involved in building strategy and operations from the ground up, managing 70+ accounts (10 premium) remotely and in-person. In 2016, they joined Kiddikicks Sports Limited as a Football Coach, and Team Satchel as Head of Sales, Head Of Account Management, Renewals Manager, Senior Customer Success Manager, and Senior Account Manager. As Senior Customer Success Manager, they managed key accounts and expansion campaigns across their customer base, achieving a 92% CSAT from approx. 1500 conversations over the academic year. As Senior Account Manager, they managed approx. 100 key accounts, achieving a 90% annual retention rate. Finally, as Account Manager, they managed approx. 300 accounts.

Charlie Ward's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English from the University of Birmingham obtained between 2007 and 2010, A Levels in English Literature, Psychology, and Product Design from Godalming College obtained between 2004 and 2006, and GCSEs from Woolmer Hill School obtained between 1999 and 2004.
