Matthew Skelton is an experienced entrepreneur and leader in the fields of innovation, technology, and software delivery. As the Founder of Holistic Innovation since July 2024, Matthew focuses on fostering whole-organization innovation. In August 2017, Matthew became the CEO and Founder of Conflux, promoting the Adapt Together™️ approach for achieving organizational alignment and speed. As CEO at Team Topologies Ltd since September 2019, Matthew co-authored the award-winning book 'Team Topologies,' which has over 160,000 copies sold, and advocates for more humane and effective work practices. Previous roles include Engineering Lead at the UK Home Office, where Matthew advanced Continuous Delivery practices, and Co-founder and Principal Consultant at Skelton Thatcher, where significant contributions were made to DevOps and Continuous Delivery approaches. Matthew also has a solid technical background with earlier positions at thetrainline.com, Priocept, and other firms, complemented by academic degrees in Neuroscience, Music, and Computer Science.
