Jason Covington

Jason Covington has diverse work experience in various roles within the entertainment and media industry. jason currently works at Team Whistle as a Producer/Director, starting in 2021. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2020, Jason worked at Tiny Horse as a Television Editor and Camera Operator, collaborating with producers to edit a 7-episode series and working on projects for CBS, Complex Con, and Netflix. In 2019, they also served as a Photographer at Fair.com and a Camera Operator/Producer at Nike. In 2019, Jason worked as a Drone Technician at WSL INC. From 2015 to 2019, they were associated with In The Lab Basketball as a Cinematographer/Creative Director/Editor/Writer, documenting the journey of pro/semi-pro basketball players and producing web documentaries for brands like Adidas, Turkish Airlines, and the NBA. In 2018, Jason briefly worked at Finish Line as a Creative Director/Camera Op, creating visual concepts for collaborations with Nike. jason also worked as a Cinematographer and Editor at NETWORK Lobby for Catholic Social Justice in 2018. Earlier in their career, Jason worked as a Director and Video Editor at BET, directing and producing music videos for the television series 'The Quad', and as a Cinematic Videographer/Photographer at RAC DESIGN BUILD from 2013 to 2014, responsible for documenting events and maintaining a DAM system. From 2010 to 2012, Jason Covington attended the Art Institute of Los Angeles, where they pursued a degree in Digital Film Making and Video Production. jason successfully completed their studies and obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in this field.
