V. Raghunathan

V. Raghunathan is an Independent Director of the Company. He is an academic, corporate executive, author and columnist and a hobbyist and features among the top 50 Global Indian Management Thinkers of Thinkers Magazine, 2013 and 2014. He was conferred the title of fellow of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, in the field of finance and control. He was a professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, for nearly two decades, until 2002. Since January 2005, he has been the chief executive officer of GMR Varalakshmi Foundation. He has authored several books and currently also blogs for the Times of India. He has been an Independent Director of the Company since July 09, 2015.
