Jefferson Heard

Jefferson Heard is an experienced engineering executive currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Teamworks since April 2017, where oversight includes live backend refactoring and product architecture for a suite utilized by over 300,000 athletes and their coaches. Prior roles include Director of Software Architecture and Principal Software Engineer, emphasizing backend systems and customer collaboration. Jefferson served as a contract mentor at Thinkful, guiding students in data science and Python, and founded TerraHub to enhance quality assurance in solar project management. A Senior Researcher at the Renaissance Computing Institute, contributions include the Geoanalytics platform and Hydroshare. Previous technical leadership experience encompasses roles as Chief Technology Officer at Intranet Mediator Inc and Software Developer at Acxiom.
