Christopher Louise has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several organizations. Christopher has recently joined Tearfund as a Programme Design Lead. Previously, Christopher worked as a Senior Programme, Policy, and Partnership Expert, where they led various projects and initiatives. Christopher managed a research project in Bangladesh, developed a joint program for the UN in the Philippines, and assessed the impact of the Namibian government's civic organization partnership policy. Before that, they served as the Deputy Chief of the Peace Consolidation Service at United Nations Peacekeeping, where they designed strategies for strengthening local peacebuilding capacities in Liberia. Christopher also worked at UNDP in multiple roles, including Head of Office/Senior Programme Manager and Strategic Advisor. In these positions, they managed peacebuilding programs, provided guidance on good governance and conflict prevention projects, and led the strategic planning and design processes for the organization's peacebuilding program in Cyprus. Additionally, Christopher worked in short-term assignments as a Project Officer for Light Weapons and Peacebuilding. Their work experience demonstrates expertise in program design, peacebuilding, policy development, and partnership management.

Christopher Louise obtained a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of East Anglia from 1991 to 1992.
