Amy Mott

Amy Mott serves as the Volunteer Coordinator at Teatown Lake Reservation since April 2024. Prior experience includes various roles at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) from 2004 to 2023, where significant achievements were made as Project Manager for Communications Operations and Institutional Content, and as Project Manager for Strategy, Research & Positioning, among others. Amy's work focused on developing strategies that integrate data-driven approaches for audience engagement, internal messaging to support organizational change, and comprehensive research on audience dynamics related to environmental issues. Additionally, roles at the Citizens Budget Commission, Solidago Foundation, and GWI contributed to a robust skill set in communication, event planning, and administrative support. Amy holds an MA in Media Studies from The New School and a BA in Communication from the University of Maine, with a concentration in Public Administration and Public Relations.
