Andrew Pennell, M.S., M.A has a diverse work experience in various roles related to product design, user experience, and digital strategy. Andrew is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at Tebra since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Lead Product Designer at Kaiser Permanente from January 2022 to June 2022, where they led qualitative research, discovery, and design for clinical dashboards and implemented behavior change theories to improve health outcomes.

Before that, Andrew worked as a Senior Product Designer at Optum from September 2020 to January 2022. Andrew also gained experience as the Lead User Experience Designer & Researcher at Terakeet from January 2019 to September 2020. During their time at Terakeet, they developed the entire UX/CX research program and directed user experience strategy for three digital properties, increasing on-page conversion by 363%.

Andrew has also worked as a Freelance Product Designer from June 2018 to January 2020, where they are currently working on an app for patients with MS. Andrew began their career as a UX Designer/Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Florida State University, where they helped students with web development and assisted professors in daily activities.

Andrew Pennell, M.S., M.A has an extensive education history in various fields. Andrew obtained a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media Arts from the University of South Carolina in 2010. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Integrated Marketing Communications from Florida State University, graduating in 2012. In 2013, they attended the University of Central Florida, where they completed their Master of Arts (MA) in Mass Communication/Media Studies in 2014.

Additionally, Andrew has acquired several certifications to enhance their skill set. Andrew received certifications in CSS Fundamentals, CSS with LESS and Sass, Creating an Effective Content Strategy for Your Website, Foundations of UX: Information Architecture, Foundations of UX: Making the Case for Usability Testing, Foundations of UX: Multidevice Design, Foundations of UX: Usability Testing, Moodboards for Web Designers, UX Design Techniques: Creating Scenarios and Storyboards, and UX Design Techniques: Ideation from Lynda.com in July 2016. Andrew also achieved certifications in Foundations of Design Research and Neil Blumenthal on Branding from Lynda.com in June 2016. In 2014, Andrew completed certifications in Google Adwords from Google and Bing Ads from Bing Pulse. Andrew also acquired a certification in Google Analytics from Google.
