Marderé Birkill

Marderé Birkill, MBL PCC, is an accomplished executive coach and educational leader with extensive experience in strategic leadership and organizational development. Currently serving as the CEO and Principal Consultant at Sage & Summit Consulting Ltd since March 2016 and Chair at TEC Canada since June 2018, Marderé specializes in coaching leaders in transition and addressing detrimental leadership habits. Previous roles include Vice President Academic at Portage College, where Marderé provided strategic oversight for academic planning and policy development, and various instructor positions at colleges and technical institutes, focusing on management, leadership, and organizational behavior. Marderé holds a Master of Business Leadership from the University of South Africa, is a Certified Executive Coach from the Centre for Executive Coaching, and possesses a BA in Law from Stellenbosch University.
