Omeed Naini

Omeed Naini is an experienced professional in the field of life sciences and product support, currently serving as the Director of Product Support at Tecan since July 2019 and previously held the position of Service Manager. Prior to Tecan, Naini worked at Unchained Labs as a Senior Field Engineer Lead, focusing on customer support for automated liquid handling instruments and troubleshooting escalated cases. At Illumina, Naini served as a Senior Field Engineer, collaborating with biochemists on DNA applications and providing technical support to sales teams. Earlier roles included positions at Pfizer as a Research Associate, developing novel vaccines, and at EMD - Affiliates of Merck KGaA as a Research Scientist, where antibody production and validation were key responsibilities. Naini holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biochemistry from UCLA.
