Riccardo Castagna

Riccardo Castagna is an experienced professional in the fields of biotechnology and medical devices, currently serving as Customer Solution Development Manager and previously as Application Support Manager at Tecan since October 2018. Prior to Tecan, Riccardo held roles at Inpeco, including Biotech Application Manager and Application Specialist/Scientist, where responsibilities involved the design and development of innovative laboratory automation solutions. Additional experience includes serving as Creative Director at SMART Collective, focusing on interdisciplinary projects, and as a researcher at Fondazione Telethon, where Riccardo contributed to biosensor and lab-on-chip device development. Earlier roles include research positions at IRCC and management of laboratory activities at Cori Srl, along with a background as a Product Specialist at Symbiosis Srl. Riccardo holds a PhD in Molecular Biomedicine from Università degli Studi di Trieste and an MS in Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Torino.
