Benjamin Sims

Benjamin Sims has a diverse work experience. Benjamin is currently the Managing Director at Tech City Teams, where they lead the delivery of digital transformations for businesses with complex IT and data engineering challenges. Benjamin also founded Tech City Labs, a full-service data agency that helps businesses turn data into profit.

Before their current roles, Benjamin worked as the CTO at Funding Options, a FinTech startup, where they recruited and trained the technology team and made key strategic decisions. Prior to that, they were a Consultant at Godfrey Q and Partners and the Director at Coldrose Consulting.

Benjamin also gained experience as a Student at The College of Law, an Intern at Eversheds and the Office of Richard Spoor, and as a Programme Specialist at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation.

Throughout their career, Benjamin has shown strong expertise in data intelligence and technology, enabling businesses to become more efficient and data-driven.

Benjamin Sims earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from the College of Law, which they attended from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Computing in Computer Science from The Open University, where they studied from 2003 to 2004. Additionally, Benjamin completed the UNESCO Programme Specialist Training in Project Management from 2002 to 2003. Benjamin'sundergraduate education was completed at UCL, where they received a BA degree in History, spanning from 1997 to 2000.
