Richard Shields

Richard Shields is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the VP of Marketing at Tech Credit Union since October 2024, Richard previously held significant positions at United Way Northwest Indiana as Chief Marketing & Development Officer and Chief Marketing Officer from March 2023 to October 2024. Richard's tenure at Chester, Inc. spanned nearly two decades, where as Director of Marketing & Business Development, Richard spearheaded the consolidation of marketing segments and led a team of 25 across multiple agencies to enhance brand awareness and drive revenue. Richard began the career as Business Development Director at Chester, Inc. and holds a degree in Business Administration from Columbia College Chicago. Early career experience includes a role as Government Marketing Director at Crown ESA, where Richard was rapidly promoted to an executive position due to demonstrated leadership skills.
