Kristi Lombard has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kristi began their career at ESRI, where they worked as a Product Specialist, contributing to the software design teams and implementing network analysis within ARC/INFO. Kristi then worked at ASI as a Programmer before joining TASC as a Systems Engineer, where they designed and maintained multimedia Geographic Information System applications and provided on-site support to clients. Kristi later worked at 3eTI as a Java Programmer, developing a wireless web-based Telematics system with GIS functionality. Kristi then joined Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate, performing Systems Engineering tasks for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Commercial Imagery Program. At BAE Systems, they served as a Senior Principle Systems Engineer, providing SETA support and management oversight for the Harmony Program. Kristi also worked as a Scrum Master, successfully transitioning the software development team from Waterfall to Agile Scrum methodology. Currently, Kristi is the Director of Project Management at Tech Dynamism, leading the company's project management practice and creating and maintaining standard project management standards and procedures. Kristi also serves as a Senior Project Manager, leading project teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring the solution meets business needs.
Kristi Lombard has a strong educational background in the fields of Systems Engineering and Geography. Kristi obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Maryland, which they pursued from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Geography at UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Their academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography from UC Santa Barbara, which they achieved from 1983 to 1987.
