Venkat Gajjala is a seasoned executive with over 28 years of experience in engineering and research & development services. Currently serving as Sr. Vice President and Global Head & COO of the Engineering R&D Services Group at Tech Mahindra, Venkat oversees a team of 6500+ professionals and manages a P&L exceeding $400 million, achieving remarkable growth and profitability. Venkat has been instrumental in implementing digital engineering transformations across various sectors, including Automotive, HiTech, Telecom, and Health Care, while also leading successful mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Venkat held leadership roles at Satyam Computer Services, where major contributions included establishing significant business sectors and global engineering practices. Venkat's educational background includes an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville, an M.Tech in Machine Design from IIT Kharagpur, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
