Jim Fruchterman

Founder & CEO at Tech Matters

Jim Fruchterman is the founder and CEO of Tech Matters, a position they have held since the company’s inception in 2014. Prior to Tech Matters, Jim was a technology advisor for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation via the Technology Partnership Network. Jim has also served on the board of directors for Zerodivide Foundation and as a Commissioner on the Commission on Accessible Instructional Materials in Postsecondary Ed for Students w Disabilities.

Jim Fruchterman's educational career includes a BS/MS in EE and Applied Physics from Caltech, as well as a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stanford University. Jim also attended St. Viator High School.
