Integration Specialist at Tech4Learning

Danielle Abernethy has a diverse work experience in the field of instructional technology and professional development. Danielle started their career as an Instructional Technology Coach at Sumter School District Two, where they recommended and trained teachers on classroom technologies. Danielle also participated in planning various initiatives and committees related to technology integration in schools.

Danielle then joined Discovery Communications, Inc. as a North Florida Field Manager, where they organized events and conferences to celebrate teachers and provided professional development opportunities. Danielle conducted trainings on using tools with Descovery Streaming.

After that, Danielle worked as a Professional Development Solutions specialist at THINKronize, Inc. Here, they provided implementation and training support for the netTrekker tool, both online and onsite.

Danielle also worked as a Contract Employee at netTrekker, before joining Tech4Learning as an Integration Specialist. In this role, they assisted customers with the implementation and integration of Wixie and k12Share. Danielle also built connections with customers to learn the best ways to use Tech4Learning products in the classroom.

Danielle Abernethy's education history begins in 1991 when they attended Columbia College (SC). Danielle completed their degree in Children's Theatre and Education, with a focus on Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General, in 1993. From 1993 to 1996, they pursued their Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Francis Marion University. Finally, from 2002 to 2004, they attended Lesley University, where they obtained a Master of Education degree in Technology in Education.
