Laurie Jones

Laurie Jones is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and technical marketing, currently serving as Director of Process and Systems Analysis at UBM TechInsights since February 2011, focusing on intellectual property analysis services. As the founder of Siliconphy, Laurie has provided IC engineering and technical marketing services for communications and medical applications since February 2009. Previous roles include Director of R&D Network Communications Group at Zarlink Semiconductor, Senior Director positions at Ciena and Catena Networks, and extensive experience at Nortel and Bell-Northern Research, where Laurie's work spanned various aspects of digital and mixed-mode chip development. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
