Tarek El Kady

Tarek A. El Kady has an extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Tarek is the Founder and Chairman of Investors of the Mediterranean, a position they have held since 2019. Additionally, they serve as a Board Member for ABAN since 2021. Tarek is also the Founder and Chairman of Techne Summit, an international investment and entrepreneurship event that started in Egypt in 2015 and has gained significant global recognition. Tarek founded and serves as Chairman of Alex Angels (Alexandria Angel Network), a network focused on supporting startups. Tarek is also the Founding Curator of the Global Shapers Community. In the past, they held the position of Executive Chairman at KD Group, Vice Chairman at Markade (L.L.C), and Managing Director at WebArchitect, a role they held from 2003 until the present. Tarek was a Senator for Egypt in the World Business Angels Investment Forum in 2020. Additionally, Tarek has experience as a Lead Instructor at IT-Corner.

Tarek A. El Kady attended Alexandria University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a B.Sc. degree in Engineering from the Architecture Department. Prior to that, they studied at KLS from 1986 to 1996, but no specific degree or field of study information is provided for this institution.
