Jaume Tamargo García

Jaume Tamargo García has extensive work experience in the field of research and development, particularly in the automotive industry. Jaume began their career as a Software and Hardware Engineer at Sony Spain from September 2008 to January 2011. From May 2011 to April 2012, they worked as a Hardware Engineer at Ficosa International, where they designed a telematic control unit for automotive projects.

In June 2012, Jaume joined Technica Engineering as a Senior Embedded SW/HW Engineer, focusing on communications technologies and the introduction of Ethernet in the automotive industry. Jaume collaborated with prominent manufacturers and played a key role in the development and testing of new Ethernet ICs and switches.

From June 2014 to August 2015, they served as a Group Leader Embedded Software at Technica Engineering, leading a team of engineers in the development of Embedded SW and HW solutions for automotive products, as well as prototypes for major automotive companies such as BMW, Renault, Volkswagen, and Volvo.

In August 2015, Jaume became the R&D Department Leader at Technica Engineering, responsible for overseeing the Products department with more than 25 engineers. Jaume played a significant role in the development and promotion of new products for the company and contributed to the concept and architecture of future electronics for BMW.

In April 2019, Jaume also took on the role of CEO at Technica Electronics.
