Raj Bharati

Raj Bharati is an accomplished environmental lawyer with extensive experience in legal counsel and corporate governance. Currently serving as the Assistant General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at the Technical Standards & Safety Authority since July 2018, Raj previously held positions including Counsel at the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and Legal Counsel at the Technical Standards & Safety Authority. Earlier in the career, Raj worked as Associate Counsel for the Regional Municipality of York and as a Lawyer at Willms & Shier Environmental Lawyers LLP, specializing in environmental law. Additional experiences include a brief tenure as a Class Action Defence Lawyer at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and an articling position focusing on intellectual property law at Dimock Stratton LLP. Raj holds a Bachelor of Laws from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from North Carolina State University.
