Jiri Vrany

Jiri Vrany is a Software Engineer at CESNET, z.s.p.o since July 2024, and an Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Liberec since April 2003, where Jiri continues to teach and finalize ongoing projects. As the Head Coach of the national Mountain Bike Orienteering (MTBO) team for the Czech Orienteering Federation since January 2005, Jiri prepares the team for international competitions while managing logistics and individual training plans. Jiri has previous experience as a Full Stack Developer at Fripito Corp., where Jiri developed the Fripito2 Android application, and served as an IT Consultant at Whitesoft. Jiri's education encompasses a Ph.D. in Information Retrieval from the Technical University of Liberec and a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity, along with a Master's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the same institution.
