George Brown

Lead Mechanical & Piping Engineer at Technip Energies

George Brown has extensive work experience in the field of mechanical and piping engineering. George has held various roles in different companies, starting with Clough Amec in 2010 as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer on the Maersk Ngujima Yin M60 Repair Project. George then worked as a Project Engineer at Clough Thailand on the PNG LNG Piperacks and Topsides project.

In 2012, George joined the Downer Clough Joint Venture as a Mechanical/Piping Engineer on the NAAN3 Project. George also worked at Clough as a Mechanical/Piping Engineer on the BP Tangguh LNG Expansion Project.

George later joined Clough as a Piping Engineer on the GLNG-40-K128 Project before moving to Wood Group as a Piping Engineer on the Woodside Offshore Projects (Brownfields) in 2016.

In 2018, George joined TechnipFMC as a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Piping) before taking on the role of Lead Mechanical/Piping Engineer (Woodside Lambert Deep Project) in 2020. George is currently working at Technip Energies as a Lead Mechanical & Piping Engineer.

Throughout their career, George has worked on various significant projects, including the Ichthys LNG Project and the Cape Lambert Power Station. George has demonstrated expertise in topsides mechanical and piping brownfield scope, as well as in integrated engineering, procurement, construction, and installation contracts.

George Brown attended Churchlands Senior High School from 2000 to 2004. From 2005 to 2008, they studied at Curtin University of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, George obtained a Certificate IV in Project Management in Practice from Techknowledgey Pty Ltd in 2017.
