Sylvain Devynck is a technology expert and CFD referent in the Expertise & Modeling Department at Technip Energies since February 2021. Previously, Sylvain worked as a Process/CFD Engineer at Technip from March 2014 to February 2021, and conducted research as a PhD student at Institut Jean Lamour - LEMTA from June 2010 to March 2014. Sylvain's doctoral research focused on the experimental and numerical study of quenching processes, which was also the theme of earlier work at Vallourec as a PhD student and R&D engineer. Additionally, Sylvain gained practical experience as an R&D engineer intern at ArcelorMittal, working on numerical simulations of continuous casting slag. Sylvain holds a PhD from Université de Lorraine and a Master 2 degree in Mechanics Energy Industrial Processes from Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1.
