Ani Melkonyan

Ani Melkonyan is a distinguished academic and consultant specializing in sustainability and socio-technical transformation. Currently serving as a Professor at Clausthal University of Technology, Ani also evaluates EU Calls for the European Commission and provides expertise as a private consultant for sustainable policy and economics. Experience includes roles as an International Technical Consultant in Public Transportation for the European Union Neighbors East programme, and as Executive Director at Zentrum für Logistik und Verkehr. Prior positions include Professor at the University of Duisburg-Essen and an International consulting expert at NASA's LCLUC program. Ani holds a Private Docent in Environmental Economics and a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Duisburg-Essen, along with advanced degrees in mathematical modeling and general economics from Yerevan State University.
