Beatriz Paiva da Fonseca

Beatriz Paiva da Fonseca is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in materials engineering and a strong background in polymer science. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität Clausthal since October 2022, Beatriz focuses on glass-ceramics, specifically dip coating and spray drying of glass precursor solutions. Previous roles include an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Laboratório de Materiais Vítreos working on ZAS glass-ceramics, co-founding OnService, a digital marketplace to support self-employed professionals during the COVID-19 crisis in Brazil, and contributing to various research projects funded by notable institutions such as CNPq and FAPEMIG. Beatriz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a focus on Polymers from Universidade Federal de São Carlos and has participated in an exchange program in Materials Engineering at Technische Universität Clausthal.
