David Škoda

David Škoda currently serves as Coating Engineering Manager and Project Manager at Meopta - optika, s.r.o. since June 2016, focusing on optics and thin optical layers through evaporation and sputtering techniques. In addition, David Škoda holds positions as an opponent for both the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic since early 2023 and March 2020, respectively. Prior experience includes leadership roles at CEITEC - Central European Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2016, and an academic position at Brno University of Technology from 2006 to 2016. David Škoda has also been involved in research at prestigious institutions such as the Weizmann Institute in Israel, Vienna Technical University in Austria, and Salford University in Great Britain in the early 2000s. David Škoda earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Brno University of Technology.
