Sandra Sempowicz has over 15 years of experience in communications and design within the media and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving in a communications and membership role at the Technology & Manufacturing Association since January 2015, Sandra previously worked as a designer for GateHouse News Service from September 2011 to September 2014. Additionally, Sandra spent over two decades at SouthtownStar Newspapers as an Art Director/Designer, where responsibilities included supervising graphics staff, managing budgets, and mentoring interns. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Art with a concentration in graphic design from Illinois State University.

Through the years, members established programs and services that would help their businesses grow and prosper, train their employees, and provide medical and retirement benefits. As a result of these efforts, TMA has grown into a 1,000 member not-for-profit organization of precision manufacturing and supplier companies in the greater Chicago area.
