Peter Bertran

Peter Bertran began their professional career in 2009 as a Paramedic with American Medical Response, providing emergent and non-emergent transport of critically ill patients within the DFW metroplex. Peter then joined HCA in 2010 as a Paramedic before transitioning to Partner, COO, and Network Engineer at COMHOME Network Solutions in 2013. In this role, they worked to implement internal IT systems, generate and review internal processes, as well as discuss cost/profit production/reduction. Peter also provided heavy technical involvement related to the management and maintenance of MSP-subscribed clientele. In the same year, Peter also took on the role of Fractional CIO at CEVA Logistics, where they managed and maintained both infrastructure and policy for CEVA Government Services, and served as primary POC for DSS audit and review of network systems. Most recently, Peter has been Vice President of Technology and Director of IT and Managed Services at TRCA since 2016. In this role, they have been directly managing and maintaining IT infrastructure both internally and externally through the use of proactive methodologies and industry-leading SaaS. Peter has also been developing and maintaining proper policy and procedure in accordance with OEM best practice, as well as US Government mandate, and providing fractional CIO/vCIO services to the client base as needed.

Peter Bertran's education history includes attending Austin College from 2006 to 2007, where they studied Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies, and Plano West Senior High School from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Intelisys, CompTIA, StorageCraft Technology Corp., ConnectWise, and Barracuda (NYSE: CUDA). These certifications include Telecom Solutions Professional (Intelisys, 2016), CompTIA IT Fundamentals (CompTIA, 2016), Storagecraft SPX Specialist (StorageCraft Technology Corp., 2016), Connectwise Administrator (ConnectWise, 2014), and Barracuda Email Security Gateway Certified Engineer (Barracuda, 2017).
