Derek Jenkins has a diverse work experience in sales, business development, and event management. Derek has held positions at various companies including TechnologyAdvice, Massachusetts Hockey Inc., Slashdot Media - Sourceforge, Integrate, DemandScience, CDM Media, UBM Channel, Event Marketing Strategies, SNIA, and MediaLive, Key3Media, Ziff Davis. In their most recent role as a Director at TechnologyAdvice, Derek leads a team of sales professionals and focuses on building strategic partnerships with clients in the demand generation industry. Throughout their career, Derek has consistently achieved success in generating revenue and expanding market reach for the organizations they have worked for.

Derek Jenkins attended Bridgewater State University from 1991 to 1995, where they studied Aviation Management and Business Management. Prior to attending university, Derek also completed their high school education at Weymouth South High School. In addition to their academic qualifications, Derek holds a certification in Data Privacy & Information Security from Traliant, which they obtained in 2023.
