Risto Kivisilta

Risto Kivisilta has over 20 years of experience in various technology roles. Risto is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Technopolis – More than Squares since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Technopolis Plc as the Chief Information Officer from 2017 to 2023, where they were responsible for managing a team of ICT experts and leading ERP renewal projects.

Before Technopolis, Risto held several positions at Telia Company, including Department Manager, Group Manager, and Product Development Manager. In these roles, they managed teams responsible for sales and channels applications, web services, mobile applications, and self-service solutions. Risto focused on developing team members, achieving high employee satisfaction, and delivering projects successfully.

Risto also has experience at Fonecta Oy as a Development Manager, where they built self-service solutions for business customers and implemented a self-service strategy. Additionally, they worked at TeliaSonera Finland Oyj as an eBusiness Manager, Systems Manager, Development Specialist, and Webmaster, where they focused on user-centric user experience development, system management, project management, and application development.

Risto Kivisilta completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Information Technology from Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences between the years 2008 to 2010. Later, they pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in International Business from Lapland University of Applied Sciences, studying from 2014 to 2021.
