Joonas Mäkipeska

Joonas Mäkipeska's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Joonas is currently the Chief Financial and Strategy Officer (CFO & CSO) at Technopolis – More than Squares since August 2023. Before this, they worked at Holiday Club Resorts as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) from January 2020 to August 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Sponda Plc from June 2018 to April 2019. Joonas also served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at ALD Automotive Finland from December 2013 to June 2018. Joonas Mäkipeska started their career as a Financial Analyst at Huhtamaki Oyj in April 2002 and took on various roles within the company, including Region Business Controller, Division Business Controller, Division Operations Controller, and Project Controller. Joonas worked at Huhtamaki Oyj from January 2009 to September 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Group Controller at Martela Oyj from September 2012 to December 2013. Joonas Mäkipeska has experience in financial planning and reporting, business control, organizational change, and leadership development.

From 1999 to 2005, Joonas Mäkipeska attended Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, where they obtained an M. Sc. with honors, grading excellent. During this time, they studied a variety of subjects including management accounting, international business, organizations and management, as well as the German language.
