Silvio Matarrese

Silvio Matarrese is an experienced plating and wet technical manager at Technoprobe since February 2021 and has held multiple roles at STMicroelectronics since February 2012, including process engineer and metal electroplating MEMS and BCD process engineer. Matarrese specializes in electroplating of copper on silicon substrates, focusing on the optimization and implementation of processes, particularly in the Cu ECD step of the Cu RDL global project. Additionally, Matarrese has expertise in the use and optimization of the RAIDER process tool and has been involved in engineering support for process transfers at the Catania fab. Matarrese's earlier experience includes serving as a technical area manager at Ricerca Chimica Group, providing consultancy on corrosion issues for metal surfaces. Educational qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Università degli Studi di Milano.
