Kevin Skapinetz

Kevin Skapinetz currently serves as General Partner at TechOperators, beginning in November 2024. Prior to this role, Kevin spent over 13 years at IBM, where responsibilities included leading the cybersecurity software business as GM/VP, Security Software, and overseeing strategic mergers and acquisitions as VP, M&A & Strategy. Kevin's notable achievements at IBM also include directing product strategies and marketing for various security products and systems. Earlier experiences include leading product management at Endgame and holding various roles at IBM Internet Security Systems, where Kevin developed cloud security strategies and produced leading software solutions. Kevin holds a Master’s in Information Security from Georgia Institute of Technology, has completed the Chief Marketing Officer Program at Northwestern University, and earned a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Tulane University.
