Ashleigh Ponder has a wide range of work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Sales Development Representative for Techspert, a leading expert network for health and life sciences. In 2021, they became a Student Ambassador for Loughborough University, where they championed and represented the University's core values across a range of events. Also in 2021, they became a Director on the Board of Trustees for Loughborough Students' Union, where they engaged with key meeting agendas and reviewed management accounts. In 2020, they worked as a Fulfillment Associate for Amazon, and in 2019 they worked as a Delivery Rider (Cyclist) for Deliveroo and an Enterprise Section Chair for Loughborough Students' Union. In 2018, they were a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer for Active Aims Ltd and a Student Ambassador for Loughborough University. In the same year, they also founded Bake Balance, a protein brownie service.
