Gabriel Duncan

Gabriel Duncan is a seasoned technology professional with a diverse background in data engineering, science, and full-stack development. As Co-Founder and CTO of Slang since July 2019, Gabriel also serves as a Techstars Mentor since June 2020. Previous experience includes a progressive role at Spotify from August 2017 to July 2019, culminating as Data Science Manager, and a tenure at The New York Times from January 2015 to July 2017 as a Data Engineer, where Gabriel led key analytics projects. Prior to that, Gabriel worked as a Freelance Developer, crafted custom data models at BuzzFeed, and contributed to research at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Gabriel earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University in 2008.
