Currently serving as a Mentor for the Techstars Anjal Z Catalyst program, Maryam supports seed stage founders at the intersection of Health & Nutrition, Early Care & Education, and Family Support. As the Co-founder and CEO of Babbly, Maryam pioneered the world's first AI technology to detect speech milestones in children aged 0-2 years. Recognized with multiple awards, including the AI Showcase national competition and the RBC People's Choice Award, Maryam has a proven track record in product innovation, particularly during tenure as VP at Idea Couture and Founder of Upper Retail Inc. With a strong academic background, including degrees from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art, Maryam also engages in creative roles like Senior Writer for MISC Magazine and has contributed to significant projects in wearable technology and space studies.
