Richard Checkley

Richard Checkley serves as the Director of C5ISR at BAE Systems Digital Intelligence, overseeing strategic, financial, and delivery responsibilities since February 2022. Checkley is also a member of the techUK Defence and Security Board and a Non-Executive Director at Pulse Power and Measurement Ltd. Additionally, Checkley serves as Chairman of the Board for International Systems Engineering and previously held the position of Director on the techUK Main Board. With extensive experience at BAE Systems from 1996 to 2022, Checkley progressed through various roles, including Defence Information Director and Programme Director, managing significant projects and programs across the Defence sector. Checkley holds an MSc in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick and a BEng (Hons) in Manufacturing & Business Studies from Coventry University.
