Ovais Khan

Ovais Khan has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Ovais started their career in 2004 as an Advisory Software Engineer at Systems Ltd. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as an Advisory Software Engineer at Visionet Systems Inc., where they led projects and provided software engineering expertise. In 2012, they joined Union National Bank as a Middleware Consultant, where they focused on integrating different applications with Temenos T24 core banking product. In 2013, they worked briefly as a Senior Integration Consultant at Saudi Telecom Company, specializing in implementing complex integration architectures.

After that, Ovais joined Systems Limited in 2013 and held multiple positions, including AVP Professional Services and VP Professional Services. In these roles, they led a team and delivered Business Process Management, Middleware, and Integration solutions, primarily in the IBM stack. Ovais was also involved in pre-sales activities with IBM Pakistan.

In 2019, Ovais became the VP - Head of Digital Frameworks at Systems Limited, where they led a team of 200 professionals and delivered digitally transforming experiences to customers in various sectors. Ovais focused on technologies like business process management, robotic process automation, decision management, and enterprise content management, among others, with a strategic focus on blockchain and application modernization.

In 2021, they became the SVP - Head of Integrations & Automation at Systems Limited, and in 2022, they became the SVP - Head of Delivery - MENAP. Currently, Ovais Khan holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Systems MEA (Techvista) starting from June 2023.

Ovais Khan completed a Professional Short Course in Systems Modelling and Architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Software Project Management from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 2005 to 2007. Ovais also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university, which they earned from 2000 to 2004.
