Umair Perwaiz

Umair Perwaiz is an accomplished data engineering professional with extensive experience in data science and AI implementation. Currently serving as a Databricks Consultant at Systems MEA (Techvista) since March 2024, Umair has successfully led the introduction of the Data Mesh Framework for Etisalat, enhancing data management practices. Prior roles include Data Scientist at Cloud Enterprise Business Solutions, where Umair developed end-to-end recommendation systems, and Data Science Consultant at Ciklum, overseeing ongoing data science projects and optimizing machine learning models. Additional experience includes predictive analytics collaboration with Their Majesty’s Revenue and Customs during tenure as a Data Scientist at Pakistan Revenue Automation Company, along with earlier roles that focused on unstructured data analysis and quality assurance. Umair holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering.
