Carter Clarkson

Carter Clarkson, P.Eng. has extensive experience in sustainable development and project management within the mining and energy sectors. Since July 2018, Carter has held various roles at Teck Resources Limited, including Manager of Sustainable Development Planning and Senior Engineer Projects, where responsibilities encompass strategic planning and project execution. Prior experience at Suncor Energy from August 2012 to July 2018 involved significant contributions in tailings planning and execution, ensuring safety and efficiency in large-scale operations. Carter began professional development at De Beers Canada Inc. with internships focusing on engineering and regulatory processes. Carter holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of British Columbia, earned in 2012.
