Diego Lazo

Diego Lazo is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in the mining and technology sectors. Currently serving as Site Maintenance Team Leader at Teck Resources Limited since January 2020, Diego oversees the maintenance of critical technological infrastructure and ensures compliance with safety and productivity plans. Previously held roles include Jefe de Sistemas Mineros and Especialista Sistemas Mineros, where responsibilities included the implementation of technology solutions for safety and productivity at Quebrada Blanca 2. Prior experience includes positions such as Data Engineer at SQM, Resident Engineer at Hexagon Mining, and roles in systems engineering and project management at various companies. Diego holds a degree in Civil Engineering of Computing and Informatics from Universidad Católica del Norte.
